Protoman/Mega Man Sites

Go ahead, leave! I never liked you anyway... *pout*

The Mega Man Home Page - This is the definitive Mega Man fan site. The first one in existence that inspired a zillion others, (including this one.) Includes several Mega Man books and information on all the games and the various spinoffs. Actually, I don't even know why I'm bothering to link to this page as I'm sure everyone already knows about it.

Neverwhere - Lots of good fanfic and fanart here, and be sure to check out the assorted weirdness in the Junk Drawer. (Watch out for Blues_ though, I think he might bite)

Imaged Blue - A great site with a huge collection of fanart. If you like the Protoman pic on the main page, or the pics over my fanfic and fanart section, this is where they came from.

Bob and George, the Comic Strip - A (very addictive) daily sprite comic about Mega Man and some of the author's own characters. Hilarious stuff, be sure to check it out.

General Writing Sites

Just humor me, okay?

fanStory.com - I love this site. I practically live there (my name is Luminae if anyone wants to look at my work). It has thousands of quality stories in every genre, and a system set up that encourages detailed, honest, critical reviews, (though unfortunately not everyone follows it.) If you decide to check it out (and you should), be sure to read the FAQ before writing any comments, and for the love of God don't go around handing out fluffy five star ratings like candy. Grrr. I hate that. (sorry, pet peeve of mine :P)

StroySprawl - A fun little site I just stumbled across that let's you create Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Stories. (anybody remember those books?) It seems a little empty right now, but I hope to encourage more people to hang out there. Again, please read the FAQ before posting anything, and don't go around trashing other people's stories.

Baf's Guide to Interactive Fiction - Technically not about writing, but you can download a ton of interactive fiction games here (aka text adventures, as they were called in the Zork/Infocom days). And if you're even slightly more intelligent with coding than I am, you can create your own games. (and if by some accident of nature you're even less intelligent with coding than I am, stop by adrift.org.uk to download an even easier program.)
